The mother of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr an ophthalmologist as well as Thelma Burnell Henson, Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on February 26, 1942 in Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. When she was a teen she had a great talent in piano playing and was the winner of a national contest at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only thirteen years old. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she finished her high school education at Fort Collins High School in 1960. To improve her professional prospects she relocated to Los Angeles. First, her modeling career was launched when she joined the Powers agency. She had more passion for acting and caught the attention of Hollywood producers in the time she was still modeling. Her debut came in The Man of U.N.C.L.E., a television series. Michele, one of the most renowned American entertainers of all time, began her career first as a professional model. Then she worked with Powers agencies prior to stepping into acting in 1964 on the television show The Man from U.N.C.L.E. It was her role in El Dorado 1966 as the main character, Josephine Joey MacDonald who brought the spotlight on her. The film was notable for her roles as an actor during the 1960s and 1970s.
